Dr. Wayne Carter
Assistant Pastor
Pastor Carter strives to live by 2 Corinthians 5:15, "And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again."
Mr. Matthew Lane
Youth Pastor
Mr. Lane was raised in Christian home, blessed with a family who prioritized church. He accepted the Lord as his Savior as a teenager and surrendered to the call to preach soon after. He attended The Crown College in Knoxville Tennessee. While there he got the wonderful opportunity to work with teenagers and young people through the camp ministry. The Lord placed a burden in his heart for young people to accept Christ as Savior and to grow in the Lord. He truly believes there is no greater joy than seeing a young person accept Christ as Savior! A few of his favorite verses are Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us," and Romans 8:15, "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."
Favorite quote:“Others before me have gone much further into holy mysteries than I have done, but if my fire is not large, it is yet real and it may be those who can light their candle at it’s flame.” A.W. Tower
